Sandhills Outdoor Adventure and Recreation Club (AKA SOAR) is the newest and most diverse sport and social organization in NC. We offer a wide variety of recreational activities so that you can challenge yourself, find adventure in your life and EXPAND YOUR CIRCLE! Members will have access to the most extensive activities database around, never again will you sit around wondering what there is to do. You will have access to hundreds of events planned weeks, months and even a year in advance to arrange that unforgettable experience. Members will have the ability to post a trip idea to the bulletin board for member feedback, if it generates interest a leader will put together the details and post it to the events calendar. Members are able to communicate with each other through our internal community, so once you make new friends keep in touch and plan future events together. We are always looking for member discounts and privileges with local retailers and vendors, this can amount to a huge savings. SOAR is interested in all types of indoor and outdoor recreation. Some of our future excursions include biking, camping, caving, canoeing, cross fit, climbing, diving, endurance racing, exotic travel, extreme sports, Geo tracking, hiking, horse back riding, kayaking, mountain climbing, moto-excursions, navigation, obstacle course, orienteering, organized sports teams, off roading, racquetball, skiing, snowboarding, skydiving, scuba-diving, summer camps, survival classes, travel, just to name a few.
